1940s Kittinger Colonial Williamsburg Drop Leaf Table

Reproduced from the original Southern Vintage, circa 1790, this Hepplewhite style Pembroke table is the finest of its type made for the Williamsburg Reproduction Program. Handsomely proportioned, this table features white holly string inlay on its beautifully tapered legs and surrounding the drawer apron, a deep drawer and finely shaped oval top. Perfect adjoining a sofa or chair when closed, this table can be used for intimate dining or as a games table when opened.
Measures 47” wide when fully extended and 23” when closed. 33”depth and 28.5” tall. Each leaf measures 13”

I bought a travertine dining and a coffee table from Dolphin & Flamingo.
Price and Quality:
I'm a designer buying some vintage furniture for my home; I've been very serious about the quality and price, as vintage furniture is usually overpriced. I shopped around, and the furniture price of Dolphin & Flamingo is very very fair. I just received my table; the quality exceeded my expectation, and they look more beautiful than the advertised photos. Since travertine is a stone material with many holes, the dining table's top face is polished very well to prevent dirty stuff from getting stuck in the gaps; the live edge on the side also adds a natural touch to the table. The coffee table has a unique design; My husband and I love both of the tables!
Shipping:
The seller is in Florida, while I'm in Boston, and I was told that the dining table weighs over 600lbs and is also very fragile. I was a little worried before the tables got delivered. However, the shipping company the seller is using is very responsible and nice; they treated my table very gently. After purchasing, it takes less than a month until my tables are safely delivered.
My own experience and thoughts:
Before I found Dolphin and Flamingo, I actually had a terrible experience; I bought a similar travertine table from Instagram(the seller has charish account), and I paid in full. After about a month's wait, I found that that seller was still selling my table, but at three times the higher price, the seller was very rude, and I almost lost my money, which was thousands of dollars. I'm sharing my experience because I hope my experience could help others from getting into this situation especially buying online for valuable items; sometimes, it is very difficult to know if the online seller is reliable. From my experience, Dolphin and Flamingo is a trustable resource, and they have a store in Florida. I will definitely buy from them again.

Excellent experience working with Dolphin & Flamingo. Their selection is great - awesome quality pieces. The furniture I purchased arrived clean and in excellent condition, and the delivery driver was nice and kept us updated on timing the day of the delivery. I highly recommend this shop!
